Enhancement Testing: New On hold shelf reminder email

Goal

To ensure that the item available reminder notice generates as expected.

Steps for Testing

  • Identify an item and place a patron physical item request on it (be sure to select a pickup location that you have permissions for)
  • Make your active circulation desk the same as the selected pickup location
  • Activate the hold request at the selected pickup location
  • Notify Kara that the hold has been placed and activated
  • Kara runs the job to activate the reminder at the 7-day mark and notifies April
  • April reports back on whether she received the expected reminder email

Steps for Implementing

  • Julie draft email
  • Solicit feedback from FWG
  • Kara adds notice to Sandbox
  • Kara share draft with Corinna; next meeting Thursday, June 23
  • Configure reminder email to occur 7 days after item went on hold
