Updates and discussions:

  • HD deliveries (incoming/outgoing) will begin Aug. 12.  Will start the discussions regarding new workflow and who will be involved.
  • Mail delivery will start Aug. 19.   New version of incoming collections proposal will be drafted.
  • Stav will come by TS at 2:30 p.m. today to meet with Susan to plan for the window treatment next week.
  • Compile outstanding list to be sent to Naomi.
  • Clean up areas in preparation for the TS Open House on August 13.
  • Adrien, Susan, Dorothy, Betts, and Melanie will be attending SAA next week.
  • Professional engagement proposals due soon. 
  • Performance management for new fiscal year will be forthcoming to set new goals. 
  • Need to start thinking about new workflow documentation.  Vernica may look into some type of software.
  • Organization of supplies is ongoing.
  • The new Creative Arts Archivist (Rona Razon) will start September 9.
  • End processing can start taking in books to be processed next Monday, July 29.
  • New acquisitions in process materials that have been accessioned are now in Pusey South where the rare book catalogers are located. 
  • Presentation given by Irina in Russia was a huge success.
