Susan

  • Houghton restart begins July 27
  • HD deliveries - will not be using for other projects other than scanning purposes; will begin August 3 and be weekly on Mondays
  • Matt and Dale will return the week on August 10 to work on Wednesday doing scanning
  • Need to start discussing annual goals
    • Think about what other projects can be accomplished while working at home
    • We should look to HL goals to make sure ours align
    • We should explicitly check our goals against our department's mission, vision and values
  • Will have another dept meeting on Cultural Assessment (Susan needs to schedule this)
  • Will resume documenting workflow soon, want to rethink our approach

Dorothy

  • Chiefly working on the restart
  • Had the first meeting for the FY21 digital project
  • Discussed with Claire DeMarco about turning on tags in Spotlight
  • Had the first meeting of Metadata for Net Holdings Working Group

Linda

  • Continuing with database cleanup work and virtual conference sessions.
  • Analyzing subject headings (D&I), the whole department involved in contributing
  • Andrea will work on a project to extend her YPE project
  • Linda and Adrien went to a SPARC meeting to discuss D&I recommendation document and share information
  • Linda will reach out the the Special Collections Cataloging Discussion Working group to get the D&I recommendations on their agenda

Lewis

  • Working with Christina and Mary about the Hollis edits for the digitized audio
  • Lewis will be taking SNAC training August 5

Adrien

  • Monique is already doing web crawling for the "Theatre So White" project
  • ASWG working on charge and membership for next year
  • Operational Impact session went well, questions from PS staff
  • D&D recommendations - interest in dealer description from the community outside Harvard
