Dorothy
- One more delivery for SAEF project. In September, we will restart all projects that were paused last year. Will launch website late Sept/Cct.
- Have been contacted about OCLC’s “Work in Progress” webinar.
- All grant parts are going well.
- Will start big orders from patrons that were creating a huge backlog at Imaging Services.
- Publicly shared minstrel description this week; posted on website.
Adrien
- TS Priorities for FY22; need input from Susan and section heads; want to send it out to the department on Monday for comments
- Starting pilot of using Combined Accessioning Form with Matt, Dale, John & Sara. Adrien will check in with Lewis on Monday. The form will be finetuned and should be ready to roll out in September.
- Reminded curators to fill out the Priorities online form (due 8/16). Susan will meet with Anne-Marie separately; priorities with Typ would be cataloging the uncataloged items in backlog.
- Digital objects discussions between Betts and Dorothy ongoing.
- Plans to implement ASpace 3.0 may occur in the next six weeks.
- Melanie joined ASpace WG; Adrien will stay on as ex officio.
- Born Digital Archival Description Group talking with SPARC next week; Monique is chair of that group.
- YPE project from Betts and Zoe – The recommendation sent to C4 for approval was met with questions surrounding scalability. We may need to scale this back and implement it locally.
Linda
- WPR batch job updates are ongoing (by Vernica) – some series name consolidation; adding access points, etc.
- Cataloging new acquisitions onsite going well.
- Susan, Micah, Ramon & Linda are still meeting to discuss space logistics
- Jennifer is onsite everyday starting this week; Christina is back to her full, half-time schedule, which is full day on Wed &Thu, and Fri afternoons.
- Implementing Catalog Correction online form – Betts and Jennifer will discuss finetuning the proposed form to create one form for local use.
