  • Freedmans Bureau digitization completed.
  • Pamphlet Project continues (2 volumes didn't need disbinding)
  • Harvard Slavery Legacy materials digitized.
  • Working on scanning documentation.
  • Upcoming: meeting regarding implementation of YPE project.
  • Note regarding one reading for Monday's meeting (and critiques of same)
  • DB added to advisory group for Reimaging Description Workfliows.


Linda

  • MSWG's concern regarding inaccuracies in Harvard Gazette article on Change the Subject Task Force on changes of subject heading ‘illegal alien.’  The Task Force will not be continuing any type of subject heading changes; that work will now be overseen by MSWG SACO DIBAR group.
  • Ongoing conversation continues regarding older broadsides and new acquisitions on minstrels - Jennifer has them on hold until Dorothy and Adrien has a meeting to determine implementation from Dorothy's YPE project.


Adrien

  • Continued work on changes in ASpace.
  • Ongoing work to broaden the scope of the group to include archival description.
  • DIBAR: Betts and Zoe YPE work toward developing user feedback mechanisms, with the goal of a "suggest a correction" button in HOLLIS and HFAD.
  • Continuing work on Mrs Husbands project (Irina), and "slave" mentions in public-facing metadata (Vernica).
  • ASpace: upcoming significant changes to back end, and possible new front end.
  • Susan noted no Archival Working Group meetings have been held in over a year.


Lewis

  • Staffing updates for onsite work.
  • Activities for Francis Alix departure.
